Meet Alex!

Alex is a Pacific Northwest native, who spent his early years in Spokane, Washington. As a young adult, he headed west to Seattle to pursue a career in the culinary arts. Alex had always been drawn to creative and artistic endeavors, and that was a way to share his passion with others. It’s in the restaurant industry where he learned the importance of hard work, the value of a strong work ethic, and the pride in going above and beyond for the customer. Those lessons, learned early in his career, are the North Star for Deckons.

After purchasing his first home in 2005, Alex found he had a natural talent for updating spaces through home renovation, painting interiors and exteriors, as well as improving curb appeal through landscape design. He also realized how much he enjoyed this work, and the satisfaction of making something better than he found it. Alex has been using his artistic abilities, and keen eye for details on interiors and exteriors ever since.

When not working, you can find Alex with his two kids, boating the lakes and rivers during spring and summer, or playing on the slopes in the winter. You can also find Alex on the golf-course any chance he gets!
